Carven Resort 2014

I am absolutely in love with Carven (maybe even a little obsessed, but it's totally healthy, I swear). I seriously adore the way Guillaume Henry uses cut-outs in his dress designs, and especially his careful blending of delicate patterns and fabrics. His designs are so classic, yet there is something so edgy about them. The silhouettes of each collection are totally classic yet innovative time and time again.

So, Carven's most recent collection is the Resort 2014 collection. It's got a delicate color scheme of browns, pinks, and yellows, all used in such a harmonious and careful way. That color combination reminds me of the 60s, and the collection definitely has a nostalgic vibe. The patterns he used are definitely reminiscent of a bygone-era.

Definitely a 60s vibe. I want that jacket and shorts combo. And that cut-out platform heels/ A-line skirt combo! And who doesn't love a shift dress + cute little collar combo?
Seriously, Carven will never let me down.

I just wanted to quickly share my love for beautiful French design :)
That's all for now!
